Application Principles

Radiographic inspection is a non-destructive inspection method which enables to detect volumetric defects of nonmetallic materials by using radioactive devices which provide X and Gamma radiation. Radiation rays pass through the part to be controlled and form an image on the film. Errors are detected by evaluating the density differences (contrast) on the film.
